Paul Wesley is a multi-award winner as an actor, producer and director. He's best known for portraying the character Paul in The Vampire Diaries. For his role in the series, he received numerous awards and nominations. Wesley was born in New Brunswick in NJ. He attended college in New Jersey in the United States. He then enrolled at Rutgers University. After recognizing his talents for acting, and having a clear idea of how he could make a career out of his acting talents, the actor quit. His first TV appearance in an American TV soap opera Another World. His next television role was in the CBS program Wolf Lake. In the hit American television show The Vampire Diaries he played the role of Stefan Salvatore. He was the director of a couple of episodes from the show as well. He has been in a variety of movies that have been a hit since the debut of his series, The Last Run. Recent roles include Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as a second actor. In addition, he's quite well-known on social media, with over 13 million Instagram followers as well as more than 4.1 million Twitter followers.
