Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as an anchor and reporter for WPDE-TV located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Then, she joined WCBD as an anchor in the morning and a crime reporter. O'Dell's articles in Charleston, about how the Charleston police dealt with DUI cases in a manner that was lenient, led to an inquiry by State Law Enforcement Division. This investigation led to a more strict directive for state authorities. Ms. O'Dell received the Best Report of the Media Award South Carolina by the Associated Press. O'Dell was a reporter and anchor for a time at Charleston reporting, was a co-anchor at the NBC Miami WTVJ-TV station, before transferring over to Access Hollywood where she is now a correspondent and co-anchor on weekends. Alongside her job as the lead anchor for Access Hollywood Ms. O'Dell is also an anchor for NBC News' Today and as well to Dateline NBC. She's covered The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted several Pre-ShowArrivals Shows for The Emmys And The Golden Globes. She hosted both The Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants.
